Email Problems @ schmacme.com	March 30, 2002
If you have sent an email to schmacme or to any email address *@schmacme.com since March 22, and haven't gotten a reply, please resend it, or confirm that it has indeed been received. The schmacme.com mailserver has been having a bit of trouble being found on the internet. I'll be working on this for the next week or so, i imagine. So if you send anything to schmacme, you may want to confirm that it was actually received by it's intended recipient. UPDATE: The mailserver is up and running fine as of the morning of April, 4 2002. any email sent to schmacme on or after the 4th should be fine.

It was bound to happen, I guess. The DSL connection was up pretty much 24/7 for over 2 years. The DSL modem is fried. Dead. Kapuut. Since DSL technology has changed so much in the two years I've had it, Mindspring cannot simply repair or replace my modem. They require that I re-submit for DSL service. That means two weeks down, a new modem, many visits from the phone company, and stinkin' dialup access until it's all in place. Sucks for you. Sucks for me. Sucks all the way around. I'll post news when it's all back up and working again, which is looking like mid April right now.
